Engineer
Role
- Implementation and development of features to shippable quality

Requirements
- A college degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science
- The ability to collaborate with designers, UI artists, and other engineers to implement high quality, polished features
- Be able to write elegant, readable, and well-documented code
- Professional iOS development experience is a must
- Experience with PHP and SQL is a must
- AWS and Propel ORM experience is a bonus

Community Manager Intern
Role
- Manage PlayRank’s presence on social networks including Facebook, Twitter, and other similar services
- Act as an advocate for PlayRank in the community, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate
- Be the voice of the community within the PlayRank dev team, helping prioritize feature development
- Moderate user-generated content
- Monitor and analyze trends and data, in order to provide community engagement recommendations
Requirements
- Must currently be enrolled in or have recently graduated from a Marketing or Communications program at a post-secondary institution
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office and Google Docs
- Excellent written communication – the ability to clearly express ideas in written form, and to write effectively to an end user audience
- A strong understanding of, and experience with social media networks such as Twitter, Facebook
- Analysis Skills – the ability to process various amounts of data to provide insight into trends within the data

UI Artist
Role
- Develop wireframes and mockups to effectively communicate designs and product requirements
- Follow through with designs from wireframes to production-quality assets
- Create static and animated UI art assets ranging from full screen layouts to icons
- On occasion, the creation of promotional material for the website and social networks
Requirements
- Highly experienced with standard programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, and associated tools
- Experience on mobile is a must
- In addition, a thorough understanding of user experience design for social applications on mobile
- Comfortable working in a highly collaborative, iterative environment
- Ability to work within the existing PlayRank visual style, but also think outside the box when necessary
- General knowledge of sports culture
- Experience with the creation of infographics and data visualization is a bonus
